Classical guitarist Noe Garcia Jacinto is a prizewinner in competitions including University of Texas-Pan American Guitar Festival and Competition in Edinburg, Texas; Classical Minds in Houston, Texas; Southern Guitar Festival and Competition in Columbia, South Carolina; and most recently at the Appalachian State Guitar Festival and Competition in Boone, North Carolina. In 2012, Noe performed excerpts of Fantasia para un Gentil Hombre by Joaquín Rodrigo with the University of Texas at Brownsville Orchestra.
Noe received his Music Education degree from the University of Texas at Brownsville under the direction of Dr. Michael Quantz and Dr. Jonathan Dotson. He recently completed his Masters in Performance from Columbus State University where he studied with Dr. Andrew Zohn. He has performed in masterclasses with world-renowned artists such as the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet, Pepe Romero, Zoran Duki?, Adam Holzman, Goran Krivokapi?, Garbriel Bianco, Marcin Dylla, and Alexis Muzurakis.
Noe currently teaches in the Music Preparatory Division at Columbus State University’s Schwob School of Music in Columbus, Georgia, and in Pine Mountain, Georgia. This summer he will travel to Carrion de los Condes (Palencia) Spain to perform as part of the Camino Artes program.
