Lawrence Quinnett is an active concert pianist who has given concerts, conducted master classes, and adjudicated competitions in the Caribbean, the United Kingdom, and the United States. He has performed Rachmaninoff’s Third Piano Concerto with the National Repertory Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Carl Topilow and with the Florida State University Symphony Orchestra with Maestro Alex Jimenez. An inquisitive musician, Quinnett’s interests include chamber music, harpsichord, new music, and music theory. He has been repeatedly featured as a performing pianist and harpsichordist for Colour of Music Festival in Charleson, South Carolina. Other notable performances include recitals at the Central Florida Music Teachers’ Association; the Montserrat Music Festival; the Music at Mains Series in Jacksonville, Florida; the Trinity artists Series in New Orleans, Louisiana; and the Steinway Piano Gallery of Greensboro, North Carolina.
