Gallery Talk featuring visual artist Greg Brown

Montgomery-based visual artist, author and Auburn alumnus Greg Brown will host a gallery talk on July 25, 5–6 p.m., at the Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art focusing on the current exhibition “Creative Cadences: Works by Roger and Greg Brown.” The artist will discuss the works of he and his brother Roger in terms of technique, subject matter, influences and background and will answer attendees’ questions throughout. The exhibition is on view through Nov. 3 as part of the AL200 celebration of Alabama’s cultural heritage.

Attendees of the gallery talk are also encouraged to visit the Museum Shop’s Christmas in July sale on July 25. All Museum Shop patrons receive 75% off select merchandise, with museum members receiving 20% off regularly priced items and non-members 10%. The gallery talk and exhibition are free and open to the public. A recommended donation of $5 is appreciated.
