Ahead of the museum’s temporary closing this summer, JCSM is closing its permanent collection galleries to prepare for the renovation. This preliminary work, beginning Monday, April 17, affects the Louise Hauss and David Brent Miller Audubon Galleries, the Chi Omega–Hargis Gallery and the Noel and Kathryn Dickinson Wadsworth Gallery.
The Bill L. Harbert Gallery, featuring Jiha Moon: Double Welcome, Most Everyone’s Mad Here, will remain open through the exhibition’s conclusion on Sunday, April 30.
All interior spaces will close to the public on May 8, 2017. The Susan Phillips Gardens and Lethander Art Path will remain open. The museum will re-open in the early fall with its September exhibition schedule and the grand opening celebration of Out of the Box: A Juried Outdoor Sculpture Exhibition.
