Self-Care Saturday

February 11 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Take time for yourself this week. Every Saturday morning this Spring semester, the Jule will be hosting a free, hour-long activity that is connected to the “Invisible Thread” exhibition. Like “Invisible Thread,” these activities will center on mindfulness, spirituality and self-reflection. They are designed to help alleviate your stress from a long week, allowing you to relax and focus on your well-being.

Please register for this event as space is limited.

*Please provide your own equipment for physical activities like yoga.

Yoga with Liz Herring

Hi! My name is Liz Herring. I am a senior nursing student at Auburn, and I have been teaching and practicing yoga since high school. Yoga has been a big part of my family and social life. I teach yoga along with my mom and two sisters, and I love to learn and explore new ideas with them. I enjoy long walks, biking, cooking, and nothing beats a good book and a cup of coffee. I am so thankful for the opportunity to teach in the Auburn area, and I have been teaching at the Yoga Room for over two years now. I teach Vinyasa, Level one, and Yin yoga. My students and fellow teachers continue to inspire me and are an incredible part of my life, and I could not be more thankful for the yoga community in Auburn.
