Practicum exhibitions at the Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art allow students from across the university to work with art objects and learn about the activities of art museums, from art historical research, curating, object handling, and educational programming to event planning, publicity, and marketing.

To prepare “Dignity and Diversity,” the students selected works from the collection, researched and wrote essays and wall labels, devised educational programming, and will give gallery talks on November 1, November 8, November 9 and November 29. Students in other sections of the course will write reviews of the exhibition.
