Presented by JCSM and OLLI at Auburn
Students will learn about the pleasure-seeking culture and art that rose to prominence in the Edo-period in Japan (1600–1867). The presenters for this six-week program include Scott Bishop, Dennis Harper, Andrew Henley, and Marilyn Laufer from the Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art, and Dr. Tommy Chase, all things Japanese enthusist. Participants will enjoy lectures, a gallery tour, and a hands-on block printing class.
