Audubon’s lovely composition of the probably now extinct Bachman’s Warbler perched on the rare Franklinia tree carries stories even in the names of the bird and the plant on which it rests. Drawing on The Louise Hauss and David Brent Miller Audubon Collection, this exhibition will sketch out biographies of the explorers and naturalists commemorated in the names of birds.
