Preserving Tradition features a selection of paintings, sculpture, and works on paper from the museum’s permanent collection by artists that revel in naturalistic representation. Ranging from lifelike depictions of the human form to landscapes that evoke a palpable sense of place, the exhibition illustrates the rich continuum of traditional art as pursued by Old Masters and contemporary artists alike.
