Family Studio
We have exciting programming for families this summer! Make sure to note the date and time for each event. Family Studio is recommended for children kindergarten through 6th grade and their families, but older and younger children are always welcome.
Register at on Eventbrite to reserve your space. Parents and guardians are asked to participate with their child during the program. Visit the online calendar for the latest information as topics may change slightly.
Family Programs are supported in part by a City of Auburn K-12 Arts Education Outreach Grant. A five-dollar suggested donation is appreciated in continued support of programs.

Homeschool Programs
This Spring we are offering two different programs for homeschool families!
All Homeschool programs are free and open to all ages. Please register on Eventbrite to reserve your space! We ask that an adult or guardian stays with your child(ren) for the duration of the program.
Homeschool Art Club
Homeschool Art Club – May 15th from 1-2:30pm
Homeschool Art Club is a new program that will be a Family Studio style program (our weekend public program) created just for homeschool families! Each Art Club will feature a project that is different from our Family Studio project that month. We will start each Art Club by visiting the galleries and then will complete an art project inspired by the theme that day!
Our May project will be inspired by the IBM poster exhibition.

Gallery Guide
Our new participatory Gallery Guide, suggested for families with children ages six and up, can now be found in the museum lobby. Collect Gallery Cards as you explore our new exhibitions and get your guide stamped with the date of your visit to keep your booklet as a memento from your trip to JCSM!
OOTB Instagram
Our Out of the Box exhibition has some questions for you! Visit our special exhibition Instagram account, jcsm_outofthebox, to answer prompts about the artwork, and like or share the images with friends.
