GAELLE SOLAL GUITAR CONCERT

Gaelle Solal brings her award winning talent to the JCSM from across seas.

Saturday, April 5, 2008 JCSM welcomes Gaell Solal for a guitar concert at 7PM. Solal is an accomplished musician who began playing guitar at age 6. She currently lives in Seville, Spain, so the JCSM is especially grateful to have the opportunity to host this event.

Solal was born in Marseilles, France. When she was 14, she won three gold medals at the Conservatoire de Marseilles, and as best student she was awarded the “Prix de la Ville de Marseilles.” Solal has won many international awards for her music from competitions in Italy, France, Portugal and America.

Since 2004 Solal has been sharing her passion for music as a teacher at the Superior Conservatory in Spain. She refers to Spain as her adopted home, and her concert will feature the native music.
