Jule Collins Smith Museum announces free admission
Auburn, AL – The Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art at Auburn University is proud to announce free admission for all visitors beginning August 20, 2009. The free admission is being sponsored by the JCSM Business Partners.
“We are excited to be able to offer free admission to all our visitors. It is important to us that everyone has the opportunity to experience all the museum has to offer. Because of the generosity of the Jule Collins Smith Museum Business Partners’ sponsorship we are able to welcome all visitors. Their admission to the museum is being made possible by these kind community business people who recognize JCSM as one of the quality of life factors in our region.” said Marilyn Laufer, director of JCSM.
In celebration of the exciting changes this fall at JCSM, will be hosting a Welcome Back event, Thursday, August 20 from 5-8 p.m. JCSM will have free BBQ from Ursula’s Catering and entertainment. The first 200 people to become a JCSM member will receive a free limited edition "Art Changes Lives" t-shirt.
The event includes a schedule of the academic year's exhibitions and programming, information on how to book tours, and a membership table. The galleries will be open, and museum staff will be on hand to answer your questions. Don't miss this opportunity to have some fun and be in the know about JCSM!
The museum is offering FREE Auburn University Student Online Memberships. All they need to do is sign up at www.jcsm.auburn.edu.
