Q: What is your major, and why did you choose it?

A: My major is architecture. I chose architecture because I was always drawn to spatial design and organization.

Q: What is your favorite thing about your program?

A: I love learning about urban development. I also appreciate all of the opportunities that the architecture program has to study outside of Auburn.

Q: What’s your career goal?

A: My career goal is to apply the gifts and skills God has given me to make the most positive impact in the world that I can.

Q: What has been your favorite part of working at The Jule?

A: I love meeting new people at the front desk. It’s always fun to meet visitors from other states.

Q: What experience have you gained at The Jule that you expect to carry into your career?

A: I will carry my ability to talk to people and make them feel welcome into my career. Architecture is a highly communicative profession, so people skills are very important.

Q: How has your time working at The Jule informed your coursework or choice of major?

A: I had to design a museum in the Austin, Texas area. Working at [The Jule] helped to inform my design through the observation of the building while working here.

Q: Have you participated in any research or projects?

A: As an architecture major, I have studio projects every semester. At this point, I have done nine academic projects.
