Alma Mater

Artwork title: Alma Mater

This is a mural permanently affixed to the wall of the Martin-Perricone Auditorium at the Jule Collins Smith Museum. The color pallet is predominately orange and blue, being Auburn University's school colors. The work itself is multilayered, featuring many people participating in different activities that coordinate with research, education, and college life. Symbols of Auburn included in this immersive work are the bell tower from Samford Hall, Toomer's Drugs and the famous oaks across from it, 'War Eagle' signage, and a student with the school's live golden eagle called 'War Eagle' perched on their arm.
