Executed in ink and watercolor- The subject matter is an abstraction of three horses with riders and a large red and yellow flag. They seem to be battling perhaps in an arena with spectators though many areas are only suggested. It appears to have been fairly quickly done with bold, calligraphic ink lines and grey and pastel washes of orange, yellow, pinks, and greens.
