In response to The Jule’s exhibition Radical Naturalism: Daniel Newman, the Auburn Philosophy Club will consider the puzzling questions raised when artists collaborate with animals. Are there any constraints on who or what is viewed as an artist? Can non-human animals create art? What about machines? And can anything other than people appreciate art? Join the Philosophy Club as they consider how this exhibition challenges us to consider the nature of art, art appreciation, and the (ethical) relationship between humans and non-human animals.
General admission and all programs are free for everyone.
