In response to The Jule’s fall exhibition theme of “work,” local designer and maker, Sheri Schumacher, will lead a series of workshops focused on the practice and mindfulness of mending. Using the Japanese Boro tradition as inspiration, these workshops will lead participants through the creative possibilities of hand-stitching, patching and repairing workwear. No previous experience or supplies needed.
For ages 16 and up
