ARTIST STATEMENT:

I use the natural and eternal presence of stone radiating strength and stability to carve abstract forms that reflect our common humanity. I flag each sculpture with added color symbolism using caste glass broken into the desired shape. The glass further expressed the emotion I want to convey with the stone and also brings a fragile quality to each piece, creating a marriage of material, color, and light. My art, for me, is a constant reminder of the ever-present balance of our universe.
