This exhibition features four quilts produced by artists Mercedes BraxtonWini McQueen, and Yvonne Wells, alongside artwork by Bill Traylor, Noah Purifoy, and the Lowndes County Freedom Organization, to consider how art from Lowndes County has long served as a vehicle for memory and transformation.
