Artist Statement

The inspiration for my work is an ever-ricocheting attention span, resulting in a worldview constructed with pop culture, public radio, punk rock, and conspiracy theories. My recent works, as much as they reflect a complacent embrace of planned obsolescence, focus on a narrative of how objects define our culture and our time. Every object, provided the right circumstances, can survive long enough into the future to speak about the person, most likely long gone, through whose hands it has passed.
