Artist Statement
My style is mainly minimalistic; I like straight, clean lines and singular colors. However, it could also be the absolute opposite. I like drawing crazy designs and making them fit together somehow.
Winning Artwork
The title of my artwork is Less Than, Equal To. The art in the picture is basically my friend and I; there are words painted on our chests to convey the message that women shouldn’t be shamed for their body types, large or small. The medium is black acrylic paint on skin.
