ARTIST’S BIO:

Native born John Ross grew up in the western North Carolina Mountains. After attending Western Piedmont Community College and receiving his AFA, Ross went on to study welding and construction. Ross is now an awarding winning international artist that resides in Morganton, Nc. When asked about his workRoss stated, “My work is my soul. It’s a ritual of sorts; these are my offerings to the universe. I put everything I have into my sculptures, like an Amazonian shaman I journey into my mind and pull out all these bright colors and psychedelic shapes that dance around the burning fire that is my mind.”
